Note for Note
There are notes everywhere. We're always taking notes. There's one note for work and one note for play.
Thus it is that the kind of note we're concerned with is number twelve in the definitions on Merriam-Webster
(a musical sound: TONE is number one.)
Their Law Dictionary definitions below the general definitions happen to suit the scale of notes we're making
- bank note
- cognovit note
- collateral note
- demand note
- floating rate note
- hand note
- non-recourse note
- promissory note
- recourse note
- renewal note
- tax anticipation note
- time note
- Treasury note
They go on to definition b; a piece of paper money but we looked at that under currencies
